I like IKEA... nod...Got my bed, nightstand and lamps there.

Although a LOT of their merchandise is somewhat sterile and cheap, there's enough good quality stuff there to make it worth your while.

It was always my fantasy as a child to be locked in the store overnight! giggle

All the furniture at my house is from IKEA, all other furniture shops here are way too expensive for me and usually tacky in design, or overly ornate. I like simple stuff nod

Ikea makes decent bedstands and bookshelves, but I made my own bedroom set with my uncle cause hes got woodworking skills!

remember they used to ask your postcode everytime you shopped there? must have been part of the research to relocate. When we first came to Australia we lived near the Brandon Park IKEA (now long closed)

IKEA is cool. I seen a lot of stuff in there that I would love to get when I get my own apartment...yes sir

like someone else said before, i would love to get locked inside overnight to try out all the cool stuff...

i love how their furniture is simple, modern yet elegant at the same time, i can't stand all that heavy, decorative furniture that my family is into, plus its way too heavy... confused
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Shopped there last week! woot!

I LOVE IKEA; especially the food hall. giggle

I think the lower priced products can show in the quality nod; but spend a little bit more and you can find some really decent stuff. thumbs up!

Bought a lovely Dime bar cake there as well. drool

they moved the ikea where i shopped too sad
it's an 8 hour drive to even get to the closest store but at least it was on they way out of the city from my sisters
now it's an hour drive across the city and an hour drive to get back out on the highway bawl

but i've always wondered if i would trust ikea to buy my sofa from...
headboards and stuff i can understand. that being said,
my coffee table and end table are ikea
my tv stand
lots of my storage boxes/containers are ikea
my cooking pots are ikea
love their cheap housewares
i have some neat sock-like chair covers
toilet brush (how can you beat $1.24 or whatever it is??)
i have to pick up a towel rack to match the others for the bathroom after i repaint
cool tissue holder and q-tip holder
oh and the mirrors are a great deal too
i forgot! i also have two rugs from ikea
biggrin

once i get my grandmother's table refinished my ikea livingroom stuff will look too modern
the end tables i can deal with... but what do i put my tv on when i get rid of my ikea stand?? hrmph

I shop IKEA.

Their Prices are great and the quality is far better then you should expect for the price. The store is awesome and fun, a very healthy walk. I often eat at their food court while there. I eat then walk. IKEA is a cool store, with a new approach.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

I like Ikea a lot. The quality/durability on a lot of it isn't the greatest, but the design is great. For the price, there's nothing better.

I always found it interesting how he instructions don't have any words!

womg!

Most of the furniture is cool and relatively cheap 'cause you gotta assemble it yourself...which is kinda fun. More fun than finding your way thru the acutal labyrinth of a store. I stick to the catalouge. thumbs up!
