Favorite book My favorite book i Beauty by robin mckinley because it makes me wish that i were in a more simpler era. Also i like stories like these that have things to do with enchantments.

Moderator | I have many favorite books but Catcher in The Rye really hit home with me when I was a kid, haven't read it in years but I'm sure I'd still relate.
My screenname comes from a book called "Waking the Moon" by Elizabeth Hand.. it's a little strange, but it's good, and there's a great Prince related scene in it. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

i've read 'naked lunch' and 'the color purple' probably more than any other book, though i don't feel that i've met the book yet that i'd call my "favorite of all time", the way i have albums or movies that i feel that i know from beginning to end.

my favorite book without a question is Skinny Legs and All by Tom Robbins.
It opened me up to so many new ideas and exposed me to a totally new style of writing that really influenced my tastes down the road. I think I've read this book at least 10 times now. I just adore it.

I wish I could offer you a profound title, just to look cool, but mine is Thea Beckman's Kruistocht In Spijkerbroek. Stilllove that book so much.
But that is a kid's book I love from when I was still a kid myself. I haven't read anything in a while that made me go;

As another lover of fantasy, I can recommend Elizabeth Haydon's Rhapsody, the first in a series of three books. I myself am in the middle of the second book. It is not literature, but a fine read.
