These were my favorite shows! Man I would not leave the house when they came on! Whoever is in the living room first get's dibs on what was going to be watched. Posted!

i miss music videos all the time on MTV... and that little space man w/ the music... and the TV was great. stuff like facts of life, and family ties. i used to actually look forward to certain shows... it's been years since i cared much about TV.

magazines like "bop" and "17" were great... they were full of actual adult actors, now it seems that teeny stuff is just between teens... teen stars for people their own age. how boring. i mean, you need something to aspire to, right?

i miss my room and my old house, and dreaming about what i'd be when i grow up,
i do not, however, miss high school. i think i'm still traumatized! and covering my locker door w/ pix of prince, morris day, duran duran, apollonia... and wearing fingerless gloves, jelly bracelets, painting my face and ripping my sweatshirts. fabricating my own fashions because buying them already made got expensive! i honestly think the best thing about school (besides drama club) was getting dressed in the morning.

The 80's (for those of us old enough to really remember them), was a fantastic decade.....

The music...the clothes.....losing my virginity...

I thought I would miss the 80's too.

But then, when I turned 90, I realized what they say is true:

Life sucks at this age.
I can barely stand, Death is just one fall in the bath-tub away, I've a goiter the size of an infant sticking out of my upper shoulder, & people can't stand to look at me cuz it always looks like I'm drooling some kind of soup.

And worst of all, I'm still horny but the equipment is about as useful as the stuff hanging off a turkey's neck.

At this point, the only quote that rings true is the one that states that having sex at my age is like trying to shoot pool with a rope.
