Dammit my Itunes went Pete Tong! 160gb of music on my external drive and itunes went all wobbly and stopped syncing right....just had to delete Itunes and re-import all my music back in...gonna take an age darn it.  | |

If you have an updated back up of just 2 files (iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml) you don't need to import all songs again.
I back those 2 small files everytime I format the PC and never had a problem. Just reinstall iTunes, substitute those 2 new files with the back up et voila, my 40GB library is there.  | |
