So, I'm watching the Today show this morning and one of the subjects was that Cosmo magazine has announced that big butts are in, in part due to Jlo and Beyonce's poularity! . They failed to mention that the black community has always appreciated a nice onion booty since time began. That oversized fake plastic titties is NEVER more desireable than a perfect apple! Is this yet another example of the white majority co-opting yet another trend people of color long have embraced... ie: full lips, bronzed skin? I hope I'm not stereo typing too much, but this kind of thing has bothered me ever since Bo Dereck supposedly started the corn row trend , even though this hair style goes all the way back to mother Africa!

I am at peace with the fact that it is my fate however I do spend a lot of time covering it up and such...
