OK, this year’s hokey season looks to be an interesting one based on sportsmanship alone, so what pisses me off most about the whole Mike Daton thing, is not that he tried to off his agent, nor is it that he had the audacity to see if he could have his jail time served in his Native Canada, but that this entire debacle is overshadowing otherwise interesting news.

I mean you have the whole Scott Gomez/salary cap speculation resolved, and Toni Lydman and forward Jason Pominville narrowly escaping arbitration and signing pretty heft salaries in light of the current salary cap—and the news just wants to jabber about some criminal?

Christ! I mean, it’s bad enough I have to watch T.V. and we have yet another America bike/doping scandal.

I need to schedule a shoe shine for my hair to unwind, seriously.
