Mia's alright now before you start reading this and worrying.

Got a call from her pre-school this morning telling me that she fell over and hit her head. After they calmed her down, she apparently threw up and felt drowsy. Well....that tells me straight away that she has concussion.
I asked them to make sure she stays awake while I raced down to the school and collected her.
Got there and she seemed ok. She knew where she was but I took her straight to the doctor here and she looked her over. The doctor said she hadn't had a really bad hit but I'm to keep an eye on her all today for any more signs.
So far she's been fine. I've made her drink lots of water and only fed her light foods. She's already had two costume changes and made me do her hair in a pony tail.
I think she's recovered fine.
The thing is that my wife is away today in another state and this would have to happen on my watch. I'm going to be in sooooo much trouble when she gets home tonight.

anelia has had a habit of falling and skinning her knees quite a bit this summer... for a while it seemed like every stinking day!! especially on her new big girls bike... she tipped that thing over, even with the training wheels. i finally found her elbow and knee pads and she's been wearing those when she rides now. first time she fell over with those things on i was riding my bike right beside her. i started to dive for her expecting her to get up bawling... instead she jumped up and looked at me with a huge smile on her face and said "mommy!! i didn't get hurt!!" she picked her bike up and started riding again!!
