It was over the P man of course. She didn't stage an intervention per se. It was more of a beat down. She got tired of me slipping the Prince albums in her stack of music whenever we would go to the store. I would throw out the Silvers, Main Ingredient or who ever it was that go on my nerves and hide my man in there. She never looked at the albums at the register and just gave the cashier the money.

As a small child I did the whole penpal thingy at the end of Teen Beat magazine... never got a response. Rushed to the mailbox daily because I just knew I'd get a response.

I did meed Alice at a very young age and I thought... see... he does think I'm cute. I was like 10 and it wasn't about me, though, I wanted it to be. My dad and him were just hanging out and I remember getting very angry at my dad for taking his attention away from me.
