My wife had that bunion surgery...keep it elevated (the pressure was overwhelming if she kept it down for too long)
I wish you luck with your surgery and pray that your mom's goes just as well. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. Baby, I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My prayers are out to you in hopes that she recovers. As for your foot, my sister had the same surgery and she said it was no big deal

On August 21st my mom Dodie is going in for a double mastectomy. This is the second recurrence she's had for breast cancer, and as the doctor's have tried all the chemo drugs on her and radiation with obviously poor results, this is one of her last shots. If something goes wrong during surgery or the cancer is too strong and comes back in another area even after all the breast and surrounding tissue is gone, it won't look good. I don't want to be an orphan. I had an ingrowing toenail when i was a kid removed. It got so hard for me to walk too. I was in so much pain and even if i just brushed my foot against something. I felt like killing the person who made my foot hurt. I had surgery to remove it and i was actually quite scared. I think because i knew it would make me well. With your moms surgery. I know im always more scared of when other people have things done..i think most people are. Do know that what you're feeling isn't unusual. Best wishes to you and your mom.  | |

Im sorry E honey Ive not been around, but you have all my best wishes thats awful and I can't imagine the stress you must be under I hope you can try to stay positive and optimistic, and remember, it may be hard to deal with but you will definitely come out the other side, and so much stronger
