Weekend's going pretty well. The dryer downstairs is broke again, gotta call for service. The same thing happened like not even a month ago, and I had to call then too. Otherwise, it's going good.

Went Kayaking alone again.

Chose the Sarasotta/Lido beach launch this time.

The water in the mangrove swamp smelled bad, and combined with the heat, and exhuastion from having fought the current towards the southern mouth of Lido, drove me within just a hair thin margin of almost throwing up. Perhaps I shouldn't have had a milkshake before I ventured out.

Anyways, had better experiences on the water, I must say. I'll look for a different place next weekend.

That's for sure. Good thing that I combined several loads of clothes and stuck them all into the dryer at once. Another good thing is that the clothes are dry, so I don't need to go to the laundromat to finish drying them. I guess every cloud does have a silver lining.

I rescued a cat from a tree. Tomorrow I plan on throwing a small child into a well so I can rescue it again

Same here! I separate all my dirty clothes before I get to the laundromat, then put them into the machines (sometimes I'll have like 3 or 4 washers going at once), so I can get out of there within a few hours.

I went out last night with one of my best friends and her flatmate and his boyfriend, it was great! We didnt even really go out, we spent more time sitting outside while Carly felt, and was, ill, and wandering home being silly! But it was just so funny!

Meh. Starbucks Girl 1.0 is OK with me now, I guess. She was back to joking around and didn't resemeble a deer caught in headlights anymore. Party girl 1.0 not only refused to add me as a friend on myspace, but she didn't even talk to me last night or even acknowledge my existence at The Rentals show. If she was trying to avoid social awkwardness, all she did was enhance and magnify it. Stayed as far away from me as possible, which takes dedication since we share the same group of friends and we were all together. Wow. So far from cool. Bad judgement, Ian.

Party girl 2.0 seems to be going out with her gay best friend. She also tried to hook me up with her friend. Nothing says you don't like a guy like trying to get him and your friend together.

The highlight of the weekend so far for me was seeing Clerks 2 with the guys. the babe and i are at a standoff right now. She obviously feels the guy should make the sacktime move. So it does not look there will be any sacktime this weekend. Just me and the guys hanging out.
