So true about Bad Boys. What's the point in doing Miami Vice when it's going to take away the "so 80s" thing? There's not much else left to it other than being a standard buddy action flick.

Just got back from Scoop. It was pretty good. Very funny in the first half, but as the film went on, it became more dramatic. It reminded me very much of Manhattan Murder Mystery. Which is a good thing IMO, but Ace wouldn't agree.
Woody Allen hasn't been this funny as a character in one of his films for quite awhile. He was the highlight. Al Swearengen(sorry, I just know his Deadwood character) was good and Hugh Jackman was excellent. Scarlett looked great and was charming, but I didn't feel she really clicked with the material. She wasn't bad, just not as incredible as usual. [Edited 7/29/06 19:14pm]

and Scoop Throwing caution to the wind, which should I go to see first? Scoop got slightly better reviews although half the reason I wanted to go was Scarlett and the reviewer said she was bad. It's hard for me to believe Michael Mann made a truly bad film. how was john tucker must die? I'm not even gonna lie....I'm going to see that movie. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
