I'm not bashing the comics or movies, but I always thought the character of Superman was kind of uninspired. Everyone else has some specific power and their name reflects it. This guy's just "super."

And I'm not crazy about the costume.

Howard Stern pointed out that he's the only superhero who really is the hero, and the alter ego is the regular guy--Clark Kent--as opposed to Bruce Wayne, whose alter ego is Batman. That's kind of interesting.

I actuall liked Captain Planet, but I always have been an enviro-hippy, I guess. There was this one episode when everyone was hooked on Bliss(ecstacy) and they were all zoned out and wandering the streets and shit. You know the story..at 1st its all fun and games, then BAM! You're hitting your mom over the head with a toaster and stealing her purse

while i liked him as a character (he was so obviously gay), his power was being able t understand any language... period. he was a total wimp, couldn't fight, and could only understand any language.

he died early on.
