Here is one for you.

Waaaaay back in the day I had a small, tiny crush on Snake from Skid Row. Well...

I took the kids to see Tesla, Skid Row and Slaughter a couple of weeks ago. I ended up getting the back of my daughter's shirt signed by the entire band... and Snake was there... Oh... he made the Cuuuuutest smiley face on the back! I should take a picture and show you! Later, my son felt bad because he didn't get anything, so I wiggled my way back and got nabbed my security... the band saw me and let me through... he got his ticket signed by all but the lead singer as he was apparently busy... and ya know... Snake, while still a hottie (horrible teeth), he had the best personality and I sat there and thought... wow!... I have pictures of their autograph from when I was a teen and here I am and my kids, at 8 and 9 have them too... and I felt nothing but joy.

That is my latest extent that I went to and it wasn't for my crush, though I did feel a slight tingle when he made his HUGE smile... but was thrilled that my daughter was so excited!

She posted on some site about Skid Row and went to all the little shows here in Jersey. He lives her BTW if you didn't know...anyway she got to be friends with him and knew where he lived and all that..and when his cat had kittens he gave her one.

See that's what I'm waiting for, soon as Jack falls from stardom he's all mine I tell ya!

Maybe my obsession is more than I thought. I have a lot of autographs. However, a lot of them I didn't ask for, so it wasn't like I was stalking... it was more like they were preying. I did have Faster Pussycat come on through and tan at the tanning salon I worked at way back in the late 80's! That was cool... I didn't think they'd really show up! Caught hell from my boss, though... free tanning and I didn't pay for it and neither did they. She didn't care who they were. At least they were really polite and didn't tear the place up....

Oh... she didn't let me get away with shit. I refused to pay becuause I was a teen and stubborn and thought it was soooo coool and she didn't give a shit who was there. It was money to her. Lost money. So, she made my life hell at work until I finally quit. So, basically, I lost my job over it. It just took a couple of months for me to finally utter the words. She was a pain to begin with.

What should be really fun for me is that we are going to see Ashlee Simpson this weekend. Whooo. Ugh. My daughter wants to see her and she wants to meet her. I'm not so sure I can swing that one, but I'm gonna give it a helluva shot. Our seats are always directly behind the soundboard so I am hoping that I can coerce the sound guy to get it for her. We'll see. My son isn't too thrilled about going. Nor am I.

I've probably said that a thousand times already, but I used to be a bit obsessed with Samantha Fox during my preteen years. She was just so fantastic-looking and made me feel things I'd never felt before.
