just checked in the org again after a while and he's gone?! anyone know what happened??



PS to mods: I know this should probably go into "Site discussion", but since David is one of the main characters in "Music:Non Prince" and this is the place where his buddies hang out it fits better here, no?

He was here last Friday
He looked happy with his new acquisitions

I hope he`s not gone, the org wouldn`t be the same without him.

Davideye is trying to salvage his madonna collection (that include even the rare iraqui single version of Stay...) from a termite attack...

We were both talking about taking some time off from here. He did it before I did. He'll be back another time.

I spoke to DavidEye on the phone today regarding his absence here at the Org.

He did deactivate his account, stating he's been here for six years and had over 20,000 posts - which meant he was been spending way too much time here. He decided that he needed to stay away from the internet in general, for awhile.

He told me to tell everyone that he's going to miss you all. He's had a lot of great conversations, but he needs to take a break. He's busy doing other things and, in fact, right now he's in Mississippi at a family reunion.

He mentioned that maybe someday he'll be back, but he loves the Org and everyone he met here that he was able to connect with and converse with, especially about music.

We plan on hooking up sometime in the future and grabbing a beer; he's a cool guy with an abundance of musical knowledge and the only person on the Org that I've really consistantly spoken to outside of the Org.

I will miss him on this site... But, no one ever really leaves the Org... do they?

This is sad-DavidEye was a cool orger-hope he returns .

June7, if you do speak to David, please give him our regards. I'm so sad he's gone. One of my favourite Orgers - and one of the nicest guys here. I think he was one of the first Orgers I ever interacted with. And he definitely knows his stuff.
