I Bought a Trumpet Today! And figured I would teach myself to play it.
It's only got three keys (valves?), so how hard can it be? Anyone here play the trumpet or know a site where I can learn how to play it? What's a good trumpet riff for me to start out with? (and please don't say something by Chuck Mangione or "Hips Don't Lie"...  )

I have some old sheet music to. Do you know the fingering  and notes? Yes, I still have my trumpet and just pulled it out the other day.

used to play it
it's somewhat hard to get the right tones and pitches and your lips go numb after a while but give it a shot, kudos 2 u 4 picking up a random instrument
