What is the oldest "anything" that you own?

Besides Music!

I have an antique Bulova watch from the 1940's....still works!! Inherited it from a past uncle. The jeweler wanted to buy it when I took it in for repairing.

Aside from my house, I suspect it's my piano. Not sure how old it is, though. I'd guess from the '30s or '40s.

The desk I use for my computer is an antique dressing table. I used to use it as a dressing table but the mirror got broken while moving once. sad I don't know how old it is. But other than that, the oldest thing I own is probably some clothing I have in storage at my parent's house from. I have a closet and bags full of clothes there. I sued to buy a lot of vintage stuff and I have some dresses from the 60's. I will fit into them again someday, oh yes. smile

I can't post a pic right now because I'm at work and it's not for sale. Actually, it's in rough shape. Someone told me a few years ago to keep it wrapped in silk and not to open it too much or the pages might disintegrate. I was also told that bibles are a dime a dozen. There are many available that are hundreds of years old if you look around for them. I'm sure some are in much better shape than mine.

eek Dammit! My Algebra teacher in high school had a Thanksgiving-themed t-shirt that said "PUMPKIN PI" in large lettering. That guy wore that shirt THREE TIMES A WEEK. It had food stains on it. To top it all off, he would smell rank even in second period as he never wore deodorant and was always sweaty and jumping around.

Fucking nutbar.

A dresser that was made in the early 1900's.

Carved mahogany wood.. Very pretty.

Also, a very pretty amethyst necklace, circa 1905.
