HAHAH, so I'm in Atlanta for work for a week, I see they are playing at some club. Mind you, I have no idea about how Atlanta is laid out. So, from my hotel, I take the fucking bus to the show. I proceed to get hammered off my ass. Mind you, I'm alone, so, I'm having a great time at the concert, show's over, I stagger my way out, get on the bus, and of course.....wrong bus. hahaha

I'm slurring trying to tell these people where my hotel is, which equated to "I think it's near the football dome"

I finally arrived at the hotel at around 5 am.


But I saw The Cramps live!!

my cramps story isn't quite as dramatic...we went to see them in ohio when i was in college, and lux interior bashed himself in the head with his mic halfway through. did he stop the show? HELL NO! he just kept on singing, dressed in nothing but a g-string, black stilettos, and a gushing head wound.

speaking of head wounds, after the show i found my friend jayne sitting on the floor with a bloody head of her own. i was all, "OH MY GOD, ARE YOU OKAY?" and she said she fell in the mosh pit and someone stomped on her head. she smiled and said "i got a battle wound at a cramps show...how fucking cool am i?!?"

and an even less dramatic story...not even really a story...but when i lived in NYC, i met The Baroness, who designs all the cramps' stage outfits. i told her i thought she made poison ivy look fabulous, and the baroness said, "well, they're fabulous people, aren't they?" she was a sweetie.
