I always go to the movies alone and I enjoy it too. I don't have to worry about meeting people and trying to be on time and vice versa. Plus if I waited to see films with people, by the time I'd find someone, the film might be gone from theaters.

Exactly!!!!! We see totally eye to eye on this. I've missed many a great movie because I waited for someone.

Yep, I think I've gone to the movies with 2 people this year but all the rest I've seen alone. Last weekend I saw 3 films by myself and it was fun. Everyone should do it at least once.

Actually, I'm kinda the same way. I won't go to a movie by myself on a friday or saturday night. But matinees and weeknights are both good.

Sometimes I'm in the mood to go alone, I have many times. But I can only go to matinees alone - something about movies @ night makes you feel like you should be with another person Probably b/c everyone else is out kickin' it & having fun together

I agree. Friday and Saturday nights, the vibe isn't right to go alone at certain movies. It's better if it's a smaller less crowded theater.

Isn't that goofy? That the same activity on a different night of the week/time of day can make you feel like a loser??

Well, besides making one feel a bit lonely, there's often a rambunctiousness which unsettles my introspective reflectiveness. And there's a lot more gabbing and chewing popcorn.
