Some maybe aware that Rob Zombie, shock rocker and director, Is been given the green light to remake the original Halloween Movie.

Thoughts?

i get the feeling sometimes that rob zombie directs movies as an excuse to license deluxe collector's edition action figures. his movies are always ambitious from a design standpoint but the stories lack any kind of real substance or suspense. he'll turn into tim burton if he's not careful.

If you remove Purple Rain from the resolve, then it can be easily said Zombie did far better then Prince's efforts in Movie making.

You want to have my gaybies, don't you? Generally speaking, I loathe remakes, and Halloween is one of my ten favorite films. Since I love Zombie and really liked Devil's Rejects, I'm looking forward to it. He's lassoed his directorial style since that awful House of 1,000 Corpses.
