Netflix is awesome! I honestly burn about 75% of the movies I rent (maybe a little less... I dunno)... I like the fact that they recommend movies based on your ratings of movies you've seen. Also, it's cool that you can check out what your friends (who happen to be on Netflix) liked, etc - I've watched movies that I would never have thought to watch before simply from Netflix recommendations and friends' ratings. I love it....  | |

Yes! Anything by Kurosawa is good.I think Seven Samurai is right up there with Gone With The Wind & Citizin Kane. Other excellent movies by him are Throne of Blood, Ikiru,Rashomon, & Ran. Weird, you mentioned Straw Dogs.I rented Kurosawa's Stray Dogs & unbenknownst to me the video store clerk gave me Straw Dogs instead .[Edited 7/20/06 7:20am] | |
