So we all know about the Snakes On A Plane hoopla.

They have announced there will be no prescreening when it comes out...meaning that no reviews are goning to make it to press in time. Usually this is the kiss of death for a movie, as normally it means the movie is SO bad they don't want a bad review to stop those that would go. So it is figure no review is better than BAD review.

SOmehow this is having a good turn for the movie...thus adding to it's supposed awfulness.

With so many people not wanting to pony up the cash to see movies these days or only if it's super big budget or gets really good reviews. Why is it this movie is doing the exact opposite. Is it the mere premise?

I mean I am thinking it's going to be crazy as it is. But what is compelling me to go see a movie I know is going to be bad. Is it becaus ethey are really touting it as a really awful movie to begin with? WHat is compelling most of us to plunk down 10 bucks to see something truly awful? Like I will NEVER pay to see XMEN or Superman or Spiderman or the new Robert Altman movie...but why an I going to see Snakes on a Plane?

Part of me is wondering if this has more to do with making a snake movie or if it's following a trend of Plane Movie/Filming that's going on...Like Red Eye, Flightplan, Flight 93...parts of Lost.

I went to see a movie called Gone Fishin' on purpose, because my friend and I knew it would be awful. And it most assuredly was.

i saw 'showgirls' when it came out, specifically hoping it would be horrible. boy, did i get rewarded.

Look what they did to the Hulk. I refuse to see any more Spidermans (I saw the first)...it simply cannot be done properly.

Wonder Woman is to be directed by Joss Whedon (who is GOD, in case you didn't know) so there is no way in hell that film could be bad.

My issue with Spiderman was that it looked too fake and CGI. I dunno sometimes I think the old way of special efx were better.

I really hope they do an amazonish adaptation/fish out of water sort of thing. that would be cool. I didn't know they had a director...finally. Who is slated to play her? Hopefully an unknown.
