Can't remember how I found the Org - probably a search engine. I used to lurk in the purple and black days, then registered in 2002. Loved you freaks ever since.

I found the old black and purple org back when I was googling (or was it alta vistaing? ) for information about the upcoming album Chaos and Disorder.

1997. Loved checking out Hammer's Prince page and reading up on the news. Who else remembers reading Dameshe's Luv Emporium?! It was about this girl and two of her friends who devoted their lives to staking and stalking Prince! It was great! I'd surf around in my high school's computer lab instead of typing papers and submitting articles for the newspaper.

I don't think I posted much in the black&purple days, but when I re-joined the first day the Org revamped for the public, I caught the sickness.

Used to log on to make fun of fams, waaayyy back in the purple-and-black days.

Got hooked on shooting the breeze and stayed. Have come and gone, from time to time, but I like it here.

Found the old Black & Purple Org when a friend ( a prince fan) found it and used to read it and told me, they dont read it anymore. Anyhow, I kind of found it and never left.

Seemed to be the most sensible. Signed up.

Born and raised in New York(Queens) though.....been a Prince fan since the 70's.

I was in internet cafe after a night of clubbing and for some reason decided to look for a Prince fan site. I remember it was snowing, that has to do something with it...

United States of America... the city of Seattle in the state of Washington, to be specific.

Anyway, I was a PPML member from day one in November 1995, and in 1997, I joined the PPML staff. After the great PPML hard-drive crash in or around May 1998, Ben and Kevin rebuilt the PPML website into prince.org. I helped beta-test the site in late 1998, and I've been on the site since our public launch on January 1, 1999.
