As for Zayra...I knew she would go this week or next but as someone probably in the minority here...I really dug her and her performances were truly entertaining...she may have come off as a nut on tv...but in doing some reasearch and hearing her album on iTunes....this girl really has talent and can sing (as heard on her beautiful ballad 'Lluvia Del Mar' sung on Tuesday night)...her style is just not dirty rock n roll...more like Mazzy Star-Bebe-Bjork-Eary Shakira (when she was good).

If you read some of the blogs on MSN by the house band...you'll really see how impressive she was in the arranging of songs...some she had never even heard the original version ('Jenny').....

Anyway...I'm a fan and from those who have followed her career for years..she is one to catch live....

I can't believe Patrice Pike is on this show. She's quite well known in Texas. I've watched her band Sister 7 a couple of times. She doesn't need this show.

Two people have done "Creep"? Damn, I love the song and all.....but they're gonna overkill it. Somebody should've performed TLC's "Creep" I was shocked to see them have "Solsbury Hill" as a song choice the other night.....that's one of my favorite songs. They're right too....Peter Gabriel isn't the easiest artist to play.

Lukas still makes me drool. He has his bad days where I wanna kick him... he has his smiley moments where I just want to... you know.

Over all... even if he doesn't make it, it made, well, it made a good wasted 50 minutes for me because besides him and Delana, I could really care less. Magni is good... very pretty voice, but not something I would tune in for. That's just me. The rest, well... Storm still has a killer mouth. Again, not enough for my wasted time tuning in. Her performances are lacking.

I could see Delana or Lukas fronting the band, but I wonder if what I am picturing the band to be is something other than what they have in mind, because, frankly, I thought their "Supernova" song sounded super 80's and it lacked a whole lot. For me.

Lucas almost had me when he had his hair flat and he actually sang with his mouth open and did not make that silly face with his eyebrows. He winks too much for me - I cannot figure out what it is about him. I usually like the strange ones too but he just does not do it for me..

i had to head to cbs' site to figure out who you all were talking about. Lucas does make really weird (borderline "slow") faces that kills any appreciation i might have for him.
