Totally. She said it took her the entire next year to feel like herself again. I'm sure that's the reason Vespertine came out like it did. She was trying to heal herself.

It took me about a year just to heal myself after watching that film.
The "steps" from her cell to where she was hanged were pure torture...my heart was pounding outta my chest, and then when she finally get's up there and begins to sing: well I was literally heaving from the sobbing- she really was too damn good. Brilliant work but I could never subject myself to that again. sad
