it seems that some people who enter the chat have past histories with others who are there.
the person who moderates the chat is aware of said past histories, she knows all the story lines, all the insults and all the situations, there are those in the chat that come in and out and join in the "fun" and there are those who can't stand that there are still orgers there despite the pettiness, historical bullshit propaganda spewed by "some" come in enjoy themselves and are supported by other orgers who know the deal.
the comment about the "under 17" orgers as far as my experience is untrue. the times where there is overtly sexual content and the underagers make their ages and pressence known a general announcement has been made to "clean it up" so to speak the one time where this was ignored and the underager tried to parttake in the explicit banter, the child was heavily discouraged, not from participating in the chat but from making the explicit comments. I for one am a parent and several others that are in there are parents as well, thus we tend to react to a teenager who tries to "run with the big dogs".

so if you haven't been in the chat give it a chance, come on by if you want to talk, if you want to start some...well like I said before don't start none won't be none.

Well, what I was tryin' to say last night (but it got all twisted in interpretation), is that some people need a place to temporarily (momentarily?) escape from dissatisfying work, homelife, etc., and I think being attracted to certain people and/or online personas is bound to create what some might call "cliqueishness". You find people with a similar sense of humor, someone who "gets" you, and you start to banter. People are attracted to what they're looking for, so it's only natural. And that's ALL I was sayin' last night. No specific orgers in mind.
