I little bit of soreness today, but nothing major. I'm just ready for it to heal so I can get into the salon and tame this long ass hair now.

I'M NERVOUS ABOUT MOLE REMOVAL!!!!! [Edited 7/18/06 18:20pm] That's nothing. Stay awhile and like me you'll be able to sit here, eat your breakfast, and peruse threads about Imago's testicular odour issues. I'm so desensitized.

With a 30 dollar co-pay, I think I'll have them remove about 4 or 5 other moles, though my other moles are not bumps. They're just little black spots that I'd rather not have. It's cosmetically not what I'd like on my skin, but more importantly, I spend alot of time at the beach or kayaking lately, so I know I'll end up with a few moles here and there from that alone.

So is it primarily a cosmetic thing rather than any health worry? I have mainly flat moles but the odd slightly raised one, but they don't bother me aesthetically in the slightest. I have quite pale skin, but I tan very quickly if I want to, something inherited from my father, along with the moles. I could count a good 30 moles on one arm at just a glance. I don't sunbathe anymore though as it just seems like an unnecessary risk for what is ultimately a rather vain and pointless pursuit. My attitude towards it changed when I saw all the Thais buying whitening products, poured disdain on this practice and then realised the hypocrisy. I do think a bit of a tan looks nice though.

I'm not faggin' on you--well at least not just to be provacative anyways I don't have an issue with moles, but There are places on my body where I wouldn't want them. My balls, my nose, and chest--that kind of thing. I have a few on my chest and I want them gone. But I have a few on my arms and I couldn't care less. I have a small birth mark on my right kneww (between the size of a nickle and a quarter) that is slightly darker than my skin color, and I won't get rid of it. For some reason, if I got rid of it, I'd feel...robbed. :shrug;

I have quite pale skin and my arms, shoulders and knees are all freckled. I got freckles on my face when I was a kid, but somewhere along the line I stopped getting them there. I think maybe it's cause I use sunblock daily on my face. In any case, I honestly have lots of moles on my body, but those really don't bother me. I do, however have 3 on my face that I want to go away for purely cosmetic reasons. They're not even large or unsightly in any way and the only two that are visible (one's near my temple, so always covered by hair) most folks don't notice until I point them out. But I know they're there and I don't like them. There is one on my face near the corner of my left eye that I think is cute, though. |

Yeah, I can understand wanting certain moles in some places gone. I don't think I have any prominent ones on my face, maybe just some very small ones. I'm more worried about the red dots I'm getting on my chest. Must be from smoking. And really, I am a very average looking guy so if you're going to be extremely gay with me please restrict it to my intellect, sense of humour or some hippy lovin' thing like that. Thank you.

Yes it' from smoking. Smoking restricts bloodflow to the skn cuasing you to look older than you are. Also it ironically widens some of the blood vessels (kind of like making them burst) cuasing a reddish tint or rash like apperence on the skin. Alchohol can do this too. Normally it is temperary but prolonged smoking and drinking can reek havoc on your complexion. I know you hear me say it all the time, but stop smoking. It's so important.
