Okay, so to explain:

Saturday afternoon I got a call on my cell phone from a phone number I didn't recognize, and there was no name as well. So, I didn't answer it. But, the caller allowed the connection to go all the way to my voicemail, which displayed on my phone that I had a voicemail message waiting. I called my voicemail, there was nothing there.



I've recorded my own voicemail message, and my greeting goes: Hi, this is Shanna, but I can't get to the phone right now, because I'm off doing exciting things with exciting people in exciting places. So, please, try to control your jealousy and leave your message after the beep. Thanks. Bye.

Since Saturday I've had 6 additional unknown phone callers...as though the first one told others, "You've got to hear this!"

This morning I answered one......"Hello."...nothing..."Hello."...lost/disconnect..."Hello."...They hung up on me!

What's your outgoing voicemail message??

Have you had callers dial you just to listen to your outgoing message??

Have you ever called someone just to listen to their outgoing message??

I want to hear that message!

I used to have one that said "Hi, this is Byron, and you have 20 seconds to say something that will make me want to call you back.."

One time I got this internship, and the woman I'd be working for called me up to let me know I was hired, heard the message, and the first thing I heard on her message was a VERY sincere "Oh, my...!"..lol ...Another time I was called by some woman who was telling me that a package arrived for me, and she just kinda hesitated and laughed slightly, then left her message. 30 seconds later I got another message where all you could hear was that same woman in the background saying to someone else "I know! Isn't that a wild message?..." *click*...lol...apparently she had a coworker call my phone to hear the message as well.

~I thought that having only four digits in the sequence would be easier, but I guess it's a little more complicated to copy/remember actually. That first phone call I got must have been a mis-dial.
