"your sister was an animal last night..." that's what this guy who is dating my sister (she's 29) said to me late saturday night at dinner. i never really like this kat anyway, but when he said this (loud enough to be heard over the loud music in hard rock cafe)...it took everything in me not to be a stereotype and whup his ass in a restaurant.
my question is fellas--when somebody says something off the cuff like that about a female in your life..do you get angry and ladies...would your man know better to say something ignorant like that to your borther or father? [Edited 7/17/06 19:48pm] you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

I hate people who actually share the sex lives with me in real life. I simply don't need to know.
But even when my brother in law, who has been married to my sister for 9 years now, makes the slightest comment that could be construed as sexual, I get somewhat annoyed. I don't like people looking at her as an object. I think it's disrespectful. yes, I know I have issues.

[Edited 7/17/06 19:48pm] Any man of mine would certainly know better...there are certain things that you simply do not discuss with family members about your sexual activities, in jest or otherwise, as it is inappropriate.

when my dad and my stepmom first got together, she used to drop these sexual hints that she thought were going over my head. they weren't.

I don't like people looking at her as an object. I think it's disrespectful. yes, I know I have issues. I wouldn't say you have issues! (Well, not about this anyway j/k). I think a lot of people feel this way. And who the hell wants to hear about their sister's sex life???! Jesus. I think there are limits to what people need to know, no matter who they are. You can sit with your mates and tell them all manner of stuff - believe me, I'm very open with my friends; I have no secrets. But would I tell them the ins-and-outs of my sex life? No way. They may get the jist (sp?) of it but they certainly don't get the full, uncut version. None of their business. It's the oral equivalent of watching two people snogging each other's faces off at the bus stop. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
