Some songs that mean a lot to you? Not necessarily love songs, or about romance, but songs that make you think of a special time in your life, or remind you of a good friend, or songs that just make you feel happy or sad.

Pink Houses is one of those songs for me… it will always remind me of being on vacation with my family when I was five years old…. My dad singing it at the top of his lungs everytime I pointed out a pink house.

Pink Houses IS a good song!

Absolutely certain songs, certain albums, certain music reminds me of people, or of periods of time in my life. Buddy Holly and early Beatles remind me of the happy times of my childhood. Depeche Mode reminds me of junior high. etc.
I'm funny with it too, cause if I have a favorite artist or album and I'm going through bad things I puposely won't listen to them so I won't associate it with that time.

When I was little my dad used to play big band music in the house all the time and he loved Louis Prima...and now I love him too...one of my favorite songs he used to play was this...it takes me back to the house I grew up in...sitting with dad in the living room
