I don't have nor want a car. No Need. Yes, the transportation is really good. Up to a point. No subway service after midnight. A few of the main bus lines run 24 hrs. But if you live in the Sunset or Excelsior, or Richmond or even up in the hills, getting to your place could prove to be difficult. Not impossible, as everything is pretty close, for the most part.
Personally, I'd hate to live kinda far out with out a car. Lots do, of course. I am actually surprised as to how many DO have cars in this city. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

Yes. Move to SF. I live about 10 miles away on the other side of the bay (East bay people are known as "Bridge and Tunnel" folk by SF peeps because we come invade the city either on the Bay Bridge or the little train that run through a tunnel under the bay)... | |
