PrintableI have to add to this that Sweden are the current Olympic Champions and World Champions of hockey. It is the first time ever that both titles have been claimed by the same country the same year.

He was up in Tahoe for a celebrity golf tournament... I saw (but did not get pictures of) Charles Barkley, Marcus Allen, Ronde Barber, Ben Roethlisberger... Some of the other guys that I was with saw Chris Webber, Joe Thiesman... there were a TON of celebs up there.... So why didn't you get a photo with any one of those guys?  | |

I think I've seen that very same pic with another celebrity. I remember that shirt and that smile. I believe DOOK's teasing us with his Photoshop skills.

Was he cool Paul? He was INCREDIBLY cool... I walked by him and said to my buddy "Is that Joe Sakic?" and he was like "yup"... He was kicking it with about 10 people and I asked my buddy if I should interrupt to get a pic and he said why not... so, I sheepishly went up and said "Joe, I'm from Colorado and I'm a huge fan... Is there any chance I could get a picture with you? If not, I TOTALLY understand"... He said "No problem" and I said "Are you SURE?" and he said it was totally fine. I shook his hand and said "Hi, I'm Paul" and he said "Nice to meet you"... After the pic, I just told him thanks and wished him a great weekend... He was a complete gentleman....
There was a celebrity golf tournament in Tahoe this weekend so there were tons of sports people up there.... I saw (but was unable to get good pics of) Ben Roethlisberger (he was in the high limit section talking to people, I was about 10 feet away from him and when I tried to get a picture, security shooed me away), Charles Barkley, Marcus Allen (singing karaoke on stage at the Harrah's casino) and Ronde Barber (I saw Ronde three times, the first time my friends and I were like "what's up Tiki" as he walked by!! The next night, I saw him in the bathroom and I gave him a little tap on his arm and said "What's up, man" and he said "Chillin"....). My friends also saw Chris Webber at the craps table and Joe Thiesman... Overall, it was a pretty cool weekend, especially since you never knew if you'd see a star walking around the corner! | |
