...and you return home from the heat, what drink do you reach for from the refridgerator first..an ice cold:

Water
Soda
Lemonade
Ice tea
Beer
Something else


I'm not talking about after working out or when you're dying of thirst from the heat...just that your skin is hot and you have a few beads of sweat on your forehead and the first thing you want to do is fill your body with something cold..lol...which do you choose?

And yes, it's 103 degrees here right now...

...in 110 degree Arizona, middle of the day heat....for about 7 hours....when I got home, I grabbed for a two fisted special....tall iced water in one fist....San Miguel ice cold beer in the other...manna from heaven...

I forgot that I could sweat that much....my uniform was soaked through....t-shirt, undies...uhhh, I mean boxers ...pants and shirt....and when I showered, all I tasted was salt water.....YUCK!!!! It was fun, though....after all the paperwork and admin crap that I get thrown my way due to my position, it feels good just to get out there and do grunt type of stuff.....(insert neanderthal war cry here!! )

minneapolis is melting! i spent most of the day at the library downtown and hopping on bus to bus to take advantage of the a/c.

i just got done watching the weather report on 'cco...it's gonna be 100 degrees tomorrow and the heat won't let up till around next saturday. this is crazy!
