Footprints in the Sand

Who do they belong to?

Where have they come from?

Where are they going to?

What were they thinking when they made them?

Where are they now?

What does it matter?

They will be gone tomorrow

When the Sun rises again

Have you any questions for which you know you will never know they answer to?

Just incredible Steawood! heart

My questions are many... and only have I learned except/appreciate, we will never truly know what life will ultimately/eternally entail. hug

Live today! The most important lesson I have learned in all my life.

I cannot keep up with my wondering/questioning mind. I give up. lol

Sometimes the answers are there, you just need to ask the right questions.

Thank you Julie rose

I agree with you all the way...

I noticed when I took the pictures ... and those seemingly aimless questions came to mind, that I didn't look back nor notice my footprints...

...Nor recognise them when I walked back...

...The way is forward...sun

You are freakin incredible... fallinluv You just made my heart stop.

This is deep...

~I think I just stopped breathing. rose

Searching for answer, in my personal life has nearly left me lifeless... (at times)

Embrace the here and now... as long as you know you are living your truest life journey, your true path...

~Sigh~

.... you know.

Such beautiful questions..... and the pictures! hug

Lady LleeLlee speaks a famous truth....

My take:
I search and search again and my prints which I would easily recognize from years of intense focus on self, simply are not there. Not one to concede easily.. I search again and yet again and in absolute exhaustion fall upon the sand and ponder the set of prints-common I have seen in the days gone by whilst seeking my own....

I know for certain I was carried through such sand more then I care to admit but am forever grateful and bowed down....

I think looking at something from an alternative perspective can sometimes help us to find the answers that otherwise elude us.

It certainly isnt and sometimes we dont get the answers we want to hear. Also, some questions are more important than the actual answer, and we can find comfort in knowing that we asked them.

The org just pooped.

Realizing where we came from, what our steps looked like in the past is not for one to erase (the thought of) nor it is wise to not be able to recognize such steps.

Recogizing where we came from... the journey it took to and fro... fro and to... and even to seemingly nowhere at all, the silent, still moments... it is wisest to know all journey's no matter what the step was like to initially take.

I feel most importantly... it is knowing all steps that have existed. Waking each brand new day and being open to what our future will hold each new moment, each new step... with divine honesty.

Thanks for sharing Steadwood. rose ~Smile.

Cherish those fine little particles... put them in a little baggie and store them away forever, only to find them surprisingly one day to reminisce how far you have traveled.

It's obvious that there was a party on the beach and they all got naked. Then the police came to arrest them all and they got taken away. razz
