RECIPE TIME!

So I recently made two meals that did not taste horrible and did not make me sick. In fact, they were delicious. drool So I figured I'd share my new recipes. They are also vegetarian friendly smile but, unfortunately, vegan hostile mad .

Study Brick Pasta Salad drool

I called this Study Brick Pasta Salad because I eat it when I know I'm going to be up late studying. Here's the deal:

Take one bag of wheat curly pasta and one bag of white curly pasta and mix them up

or

Get a bag of tricolored or spinach curly pasta

THE PASTA MUST BE CURLY!!!

Measure out 2 cups

Cut up a handful of baby carrots

Get a handful of snowpeas or some other kind of peas in a pod (like sugarsnap or whatever)

Cut up a quater of a red onion

Cut up half of an avacado

Hard boil 2 eggs

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Directions:
Cook pasta until done and drain it
Add veggies, eggs and avacado
Add desired amount of olive oil and salt and pepper

You can either eat it right away or put it in you fridge and eat it cold. It is yumazing and very easy to make

The other meal I made is called Ginger Shrimp Pasta. I'll post that recipe later, once I remeber what was in it. It's been a long day for me. yawn

Anyone else have easy, yummy recipes to share?

Really Basic BBQ Sauce

    Ketchup
    Brown Sugar
    White Vinegar
    Smoke Flavoring

From there you can tweak it out any way you want.

It's good with Cayene Pepper Sauce added to it.

or use Cider Vinegar in place of the White Vinegar, and add some Apple Butter to it.

or add diced sauteed shallots to it.

If you take some fresh pizza dough, and drizzle it with olive oil and sprinkle it with garlic salt, then bake it till it browns, cut it into breadsticks, the basic sauce listed above makes a great dipping sauce for them.

If you want a thicker sauce, just simmer it for a while

Marinade for Chicken

    White Wine
    Butter
    White Pepper
    Lemon Juice
    Cayenne Pepper (pinch of it)
Water (to thin it out a little)

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and nuke em till the butter melts, and you can stir it all together. Dip the chicken breasts in it before you throw them on a hot grill.
