I've not heard enough to have a favorite.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Steve Martin almost doesn't do jokes. His material is so stupid, but it's brilliant and surreal at the same time.

it's a crime that it's out of print, but there's a DVD/film version of it which is only slightly different, and it's still in print. the film version is great, but the album is so much better. i don't think sandra's done anything as good since "without you i'm nothing".

david cross's "it's not funny" and sarah silverman's "jesus is magic" are both way funny too, though i don't know that i'd say "funniest of all time". the test of time will tell...

yeah, but sometimes david cross can get a little pander-y to his audience. he is to indie rawk college boys as margaret cho is to the gays. i think i like sarah silverman a little more for this reason, because she pisses EVERYONE off. lol

My parents used to have a lot of comedy recrods when I was a kid. I remember a lot of Alan Sherman and the Smothers Brothers and Bill Cosby records. lol
I don't think I've listened to a comedy album since then, though.

I rarely like comedy in music and I don't think I could listen to a complete album of joviality. I like some humorous songs, 'Vindaloo' by Fat Les is one I used to detest but it's grown on me. 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life' is a classic too.

i think sarah silverman's standup is funnier because it's less liberal politics and more funny. But her movie isn't as good as Cross' albums. So there. razz
