This Just In! Jiffey Lube and Best Buy Both Suck! I went back to Jiffy Lube today. Their AC guy was in, finally. Jiffy Lube said that Best Buy shorted the AC when they installed my car stereo. That was like six months ago and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Best Buy won't give a shit now. And Jiffy Lube said they can't fix it. They don't really seem to know that much about cars except how to change your oil or give you new windshield wipers.
This means two separate people have failed to install my car stereo properly. The first guy killed my battery. The second guy killed my AC. Third time's the charm? I am sweatin' to the oldies these days and it sucks. Big-time.  [Edited 7/13/06 8:48am] | |

What year is your car? In newer cars its really easy to install a car stereo yourself. You just need to buy the mounting kit and the little adapter thingy (so you don't have to fuss with cutting the wires), and you literally just plug in two wires and you're good to go. | |

Sorry, but there is no way I'm gonna try installing my car stereo for a third time if professional places can't handle it. There's no telling how much I would fuck it up. My car's a 96 Corolla, btw. | |
