Why all this fuss over women who are friends with gay men, though? As pointed out, it's all subjective - it's not as if every single woman who hangs about with a gay man wants to rip his pants off. Or not in my experience. Yes, they're out there but there are also many, many healthy relationships (see: Carrie).

As Anx referred to with his best mate/her boyfriend, I think it's completely healthy. If only more straight people went to gay clubs and gay people went to straight clubs. It's when people stick exclusively to what they know that divisions can arise.
