So what about women who are always attracted to men who TURN OUT to be gay? Those are the fag hag kind. They are initially turned on by how gay men look and act. I think it's more of fooling themselves...IMO. If they didn't want to be attracted to men who turn out to be gay, they need to find a different gay bar to have drinks in then. These women are usually mad at the world. not necessarily so. I think many are mad at the Dating culture and hate the way straight guys act towards them. I'd agree, except sometimes fruit flies just plain don't have a man. right! my best friend is a self-professed "fruit fly" and she's had an amazing boyfriend for the past eight years or so, and he loves hanging out with the gays too. he's kind of a male fruit fly by default. even when my gal-pal was single, she was dating a lot, but she also really enjoyed running around with the gay boys. she said it was because she grew up with a bunch of brothers, so she likes hanging out with guys without having to worry about getting hit on or ogled or whatever...unless that's what she's after. meanwhile, i think a fag-hag is someone who is so in love with the "gayness" of gay men that they think of their friendships as relationships, and can kind of manipulate a kind of co-dependency that's weirdly girlfriendish without it getting sexual. i've been in that situation before. it was weird and gross.

So Anx, you don't have a theory on like WHY these women prefer to surround themselves w/only Homo's. Do U think they have issue's with trusting straight men, or anything? It's because we are awesome and we treat them like human beings, unlike their boyfriends and husbands 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Let's get down to the truth. The ONLY reason straight women hang around gay men is because they think that the man is so "perfect" for them so they hang around them under the illusion that one day the man will "snap out" of his gayness and she's the first person he runs to, or this his "gayness" is just a phase, or hoping for that one drunken night. Point Blank. Lance is SO a bottom

I dunno, just because I'm gay and one of my friends happens to be a female, doesn't mean she's a "fruit fly" or a "fag hag", she's just one of my friends. I don't like calling people names like that because it kind of implies they're not really a true friend, they're some kind of pseudo-aquaintance.
The only time I would use "hag" when referring to someone would be if she's getting on my nerves with the whole "I Love Gay People!" routine, and I'm trying to drop a hint for her to stop it.

I don't think so. yes, many of them come to love us but I think it's because we are safe and treat them like women, like humans instead of objects. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

That's the biggest bunch of bull I've ever heard. Please motherfucker, Please!!! It's the damn truth. I'm not speaking on all women though. And i'm not necessarily speaking for myself, even though it has happened to me. Chicks try talking to me and I tell them I'm strictly dickly, either they COMPLETELY don't believe me, or say "Well, maybe you haven't found the right girl yet." or "A little pussy will clear that right up" or some dumb shit. And it's annoying. Dismissing my sexuality as nothing just because I won't get with them. It's highly annoying and why I prefer to hang around lesbians who don't want anything from me. From personal experience, I'm truly not sexually attracted to gay men in general and I know very few women who are. Not to say there aren't ever any exceptions, as we can all appreciate a nice looking man walking down the street, but the second I find out a man is gay it's like a defense mechanism or something, cause it totally turns me off. |
