eh, I don't know how it happened. I fell into a group of friends many years back with whom I had lots in common. The vast majority of the men happened to be gay. Now, they're all just my friends/chosen family. I don't know how it happened. It just did.

I can't speak for Carrie, but I never really vent about guy stuff to my gay friends. We just have a good time together!

I really met them all because of parties and dance clubs and musical interests in common. No lie. I think all but one of my current close friends I met out at a club or at a party.
Now, I will say that through most of my early 20's I didn't have much interest in long term relationships with straight men. My heart was broken (really, really bad) when I was 18 and I just never wanted to go through that again. I had dates and flings here and there, but that was about it. But I was certainly never part of the cursing men forever crowd. I've known women like that, but that was never really me.
