I've always liked French Provincial furniture.

I don't think I'd like to have it in my house though.... I like comfy cuddly lived in stuff.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I have this couch and a similar ottomen, and instead of the two chairs in this pic I have two with rounded backs. Most of my new furniture is in storage until I move into my new place, so I can't take a pic of it all set up. sad

I am in the process of making throw pillows (the little one in this pic is only half stuffed) and buying co-ordinates. I love home decor! Here is my colour scheme to go with my dark chocolate couch.

I am sooooo addicted to shopping for home stuff and I really enjoy making my own stuff too.

I like contemporary, with nice clean lines, dark wood and neutral colours with a hint of bright as an accent. I also can't stand clutter. I keep my tv and entertainment stuff hidden in a dark wood armoir and the baby's toys are hidden inside the ottomen when he's not using them.

I can't wait to get everything all set up. smile

These are my couches and table... ( Sorry but disregard the peeps... I don't make a habit of shooting anything but)

My influences were the Kitty cat club in Minnieapolis which created a jillion living room settings all comfortable and just amazing and Rembrandt...

This pic is washed out BUT it contains great value.. I stained this wood myself... on it are valuable treasures that represent people of great value....

The cross I brought back from Northern Ireland and reminds me of my faith and Jon (Electrostar) and his beautiful family whom he shared with me there..... The Rembrandt box was a gift from Chris (Madartista) The candle set up was from Kylie ( Ocean) laying down were special art from Herman (Gooey) from the special Rembrandt 2006 aniversary exihbit...The basket is a birthday gift from Petra ( AGCM) I filled with balls from Jeri..... The lamp which is now in the guest room is also from an amazing woman who touched my life marci.....
