Not one person mentioned it was about incest.

And it's not that I go out of my way to watch movies about incest, but I go out of my way to watch a lot of movies. Many of the best and most interesting have dealt with this subject, which is an important one to examine.

i forget the title but it was suppose to be a victorian reenactment of the mating rituals of a beehive. i think it was sold to the public with a different tagline but that's basically what it was about. incest all over the place.








and i wouldn't say that monsoon wedding was about incest as much as it featured a plot line about incest. it was the main theme but it was a prominent feature. unless you also count the two cousins who had a crush on each other incest, but i think cousin marriages/crushes/dating were considered acceptable in that movie.


and i just loved the storyline with Alice and the wedding planner! when he made her that heart out of marigolds, i started to tear up....



anyways, i love that movie so i just wanted to give my two cents.
