The PMS thread

Ok fine I admit it. I'm pissed the fuck off for no good reason and I'm ready to smash shit.

I haven't slept well in a few days. I can't handle normal interaction with anyone today. Think I'm gonna hole up here, org and stare at the TV all fucking day.

Who's with me on this?

When I was a teenager and I got my period...

WARNING MEN MAY NOT WANT TO READ THE NEXT PART AS IT CAN BE VERY GROSS

it was like clockwork always on time and 7 days long, and very heavy and very painful. I would pass out and vomit from the pain. Then when I was 20 - 25 it slowly became less painful and eventually it became shorter and lighter. Down to about 3 days at a medium flow...but the last year has been insane. It doesn't come on time it can be long and heavy or short and light, I never know what to expect painwise and I now have PMS which I never had before. I swear half the month I'm sore and pissy and my boobs hurt, one week I'm normal and the other week I feel like I'm gonna die of the cramps and the...oh...heres another great addition... I can't leave the freaking potty! I always would pee a lot during my period and right before it...but now it's other stuff too, that's got it's own set of cramps and discomfort to deal with.

Doc says it's age and stress.... but fuck I can't take it.

cry

I'm sure that's way more than what you, or anyone else wanted to know.

__ Are you getting enough sleep (do you awake feeling refreshed?)? shake

__ Do you have regular eating habits and a balanced diet? shake

__ Do you get 20 minutes of aerobic exercise 3-4 times per week? nod

__ Do you smoke? nod

__ Is your diet high in red meat, salty foods or sugar? nod

__ Do you have food cravings in the 10 days before your period? nod

falloff comfort

my mother is a lesbian/bisexual woman (she's told me different things on different occasions) and she used to tell me that all menstural and other gnycological problems were caused by dirty men.

then she used to laugh at me for being born straight. pout
