Polar bears

You know, every since I was denied my rightful place as July Male Org Hottie (as well as being left off of other recent Org lists), I have undergone some changes. Instead of non-stop Caligula-like sex sessions, I have been watching a lot of Animal Planet. Today I saw a special on polar bears. On scene in particular moved CaptainNiceNice (as I'm calling myself now). They had this scene where a mother polar bear was taking her two cubs through the Arctic tundra and one of them was sick. And the mom had to chose between continuing her trek with the healthy one, so he wouldn't starve to death, or staying behind with the sick one. So she had to chose the healthy one and the sickly one dies. Did you know that 60% of polar bears do not survive to adulthood? It's just a darn shame that life is so cruel.

I cried for like 3 hours after this was over. The only thing I could do to put me back in good spirits was to listen to Katrina and the Waves "Walking on Sunshine" back to back like 50 times.

Thinking back to it is filling my eyes with tears again...

I was a polar bear once....

NOT in another life, but twas mine High School mascot.

Woodward HS Polar Bears.

You can imagine what the rival HS's thought of an ALL WHITE
statue in front of our school. Lets just say that I've
seen PB's in every shade of the rainbow.

lol
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

They ARE near the top of the food chain...TOPS in their area...you should feel compassion for their prey.

Okay, now you have me crying for those poor damn seals that the polar bears munched down on like Snickers bars.

Curse you, Mother Nature!

Polar bears happen to be my favorite bear. They are the most complete athlete in the bear kingdom. Great swimmers. nod

Are you ugly?

Only pretty people make these lists. In time you will learn to accept your place in the pecking order of the org. Think of it as a way to improve your standing with the divine. Peace and I love you.

Compassion for prey? It's nature, there are predators and there are prey. It's the way it's been since time began and it's RIGHT. It's the way it's supposed to be.

I've overcome my bitterness about being denied my rightful place on VIRTUALLY EVERY ORG LIST. I am filled with an inner peace now, a peace that only comes mwith being truly one's self. I have embraced my inner hippy and am a better Captain for it.

If there's ever a list of "Fair-to-middling Orgers who are forever struggling in the shadow of Admiral Disorder" I promise to consider writing you in as a provisional nominee/wildcard.

Admiral, Admiral, Admiral...can't the Org just forget that rip-off artist?

Damn, I loved that man!
