Any good wedding gift suggestions?

My brother is getting married next weekend and I am at a loss of ideas on what to get him. There is no wedding registry (to make my life more comlicated) and I don't exactly like his hag right now, so it's not like I want to spend my hard earned money sending them on a trip for her to bask in.

Any good, practical ideas?

Thanks in advance.

That is what I was leaning towards. What would be an adequate amount though?

Arrange a prenup. for him nod

The greatest wedding gift anyone can give, I suggested a good lawyer before my cousin got married, and now his ex-bitch ain't getting a penny.

$200 or $300 - whatever you like. It will be much appreciated by the couple.

If a prenup is presented, no matter how you feel about the other person.... don't walk.... run!!!

Never, ever sign a prenup - it means the person you are marrying does not trust you, and is out to protect themselves. Then the relationship is all about who gets what. It's not a relationship based on love.

If a prenup is presented, no matter how you feel about the other person.... don't walk.... run!!!

Seeing as in 2004 65% of new marriages failed, it would be a WISE idea to arrange a prenup. Oh we could just address the root cause: PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO DIE ALONE smile

I got my bestfriend a set of nice wine glasses from Aerowine or somewhere like that. You can get some pretty nice ones, and it's a usable gift.
This one's for you.

Gosh, since you said you didn't want to contribute for a trip, I'm at a loss. I was going to suggest a nice gift certificate for a chic hotel so they could go get it on in style with a romantic weekend, but, er, uh..okay. NOT. lol

What about a nice barbecue grill and a cool cookbook to go with, maybe with two aprons neutral ?????

I got my friends sister and husband a cheese knife set. Whether they've used it or not is anyone's guess.

If you can't decide and you run out of time, you can go to CVS (or most major retailers) and buy a $50 or $100 American Express Gift Card.

Beats having to gift-wrap a piece of porcelain.
