I did. I got married at the RIO last year. It only cost about 2grand. That included 2 nights in a huge honeymoon suite, wedding chappel, wedding cake, flowers, music and catered food, and about 50 photos.
When I watch that silly show Bridezillas and see people spending 60grand on a wedding, I can't believe it. That money will be much better spent on a downpayment to a home.

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I was maid of honor in a wedding in las vegas. It was great fun. Small, simple ceremony in the tropical bird avaiary at the Flamingo. It was attended by maybe 30 people. Then, they had a separate reception at home later for extended family and friends.

We planned it 1 month in advance. All the planning was done over the phone. The chappel accomodated thirty guests. The wedding package was actually only 1,200. Ours cost more because we added food, which is optional. Check the RIO website. There are packages that are even cheaper. There is a section specifically for weddings. Oh yeah, you will also get a wedding coordinator to set everything up for you.

Wherever they wanted. lol. I think that's the great thing about vegas, cause it's a really cheap destination. I don't think any one of us spent more than $350 for airfare and hotel both for about a 4 day stay.
