Damn it!!!!! The whole week I'm out, not a night at home because the weather has been great so I haven't been watching tv much at home.....Today I return from a night of partying in Rotterdam, exhausted, looking forward to a night on the couch watching the tube..... What happens?? No fucking signal!!!!! Didn't I pay my cable-bills? What the hell is wrong??
So I call the cable-people on their emergency hotline, I did pay my bills and there is no general problem detected in my neighbourhood..... weird..... The guy on the phone makes me check things that could be the problem, without any result.
Conclusion: they will have to send a cable-guy to do some stuff here, so I ask when that will be..... Not before Monday 8 o'clock..... When exactly? Monday-morning between 8 and 12 am.....as if I don't have to work? My boss is gonna love me: 'I'm staying at home from work so that the cable-guy can fix my cable.....' Yeah right.....

I fucking hate that!

Oh they tell you they're gonna show up between 8-12, but then they never show and don't bother to even call you and tell you they aren't coming. I went through that with Roadrunner last month. I called them up after the last time they did that and MFed them on the phone and cancelled practically all of my extras like HBO, extended digital channels, and just kept the bare minimum. I've been seriously thinking about switching to something else, but options are limited for high speed internet access.

The other thing they will do, is send someone out that barely knows how to do his job, and he will come take a look at it and then say he needs to schedule someone else to come out and install a wire or something. They just keep passing the job off to another person, and make you miss several days of work waiting around for them.

It's an awful match to be fair. I nodded of. Oh well, there's a night of beer and pussy chasing to be had so all's well.

You know it's a sad state of affiars when people get this worked up about the moving picture box
