Revisiting THE HOUSE OF YES

I watched this again this weekend. I love PARKER in this movie. And how cute was Freddie Prinze Jr. I'm not even a fan.

Anyone else love this movie?

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Yes. I used to work with someone who bore a strong resemblance to Parker's character. That gave me even more reason to falloff .

This is one of my all time favorite movies. For a period of my life we would seriously watch it almost weekly and were CONSTANTLY quoting it. I really need to find my VHS and give it another viewing as I haven't seen it in years now.

I just bought this film last week and we've been quoting since then.

Hilarious. I've been on a Parker Posey fix since coming across "Party Girl" on cable and laughing our asses off. We're watching "Tales of the City" right now.

And yes, Freddie is cute as hell in that flick. The first time I saw it I didn't know who he was, and I was like... jerkoff

"Were you poor? Did you have to eat chicken pot-pies?" lol

It's true. I actually despised her going into this movie and it was one reason I did not want to see it but my opinion of her is forever changed after seeing this movie and her performance in it nod

Love this movie? Well, sure it's a good flick, but a bit creepy, no? A bit dark and disturbing, no?

I love that quote!!!! Now can anyone tell me what the hell Parker Posey and those queens say in the beginning of PARTY GIRL. She runs into these freaks and they recite something. It's funny but I wish I could understand what they are saying.

No, no: Favorite part: "HEAR THAT EVERYBODY? OUR FRIEND HAS GIVEN US A REALLY GREAT IDEA! WE'LL JUST PUT THE BOOKS ANY-DAMN-WHERE WE WANT!"

Or: "Oranges and Peaches? You might try the periodicals under 'Foods.'"

biggrin We've watched that flick like 10 times in the last few weeks.

Party Girl is the best. My favorite is when she tries to sell her clothes at a thrift shop and the woman in the store chides and mocks each piece of clothing. giggle

I love the part when she's singing that Middle Eastern song with the spoons. Or when her friend kisses her in the shower and she says "Incest."
