What would you do or suggest doing if you had 6 days off and opt staying home/near home? I have 6 days off next week... and decided to just stay home. I am one to spend tons of time with family... so this is not a primary focus during my time-off, at least not entirely. They will weasel themselves in, they always do.
What would you do if you had 6 days off... that does not involve too much $$$, sex or large crowds? ~Desribe an interesting/creative day, one that would be interesting to you. **If you know me (somewhat), what would you suggest for me to do? ~Smile (yes, your thoughts matter to me) I'm counting on you...

I wouldn't spend it by myself. Rope your best friend into it.

I'd definitely treat myself to a spa day - massage, lunch, maybe a movie...
The other days I'd probably waste on miscellaneous home projects b/c I have so friggin' many. Read some magazines, see a few friends, do some Spring cleaning... I'm so fucking boring

Go with me to Mexico. And drink Tecate beer morning, noon and night! Quite honestly... two years ago... this was the last vacation I truly relaxed on. I mean, real... relaxation. I can be so tense/intense.

if i had one day ...one single 24 hr period alone
i would go out to the deep woods ... throw up my tent go for a long slow walk inhaling in all nature had to offer me stop by the bubbling brook and get my feet went and play in the water admiring the stones and all things the brook had to offer me walk some more and continue to inhale into my spirit all things refreshing and beautiful eat some fruit drink some water start a fire and gaze at the flames until i was intoxicated by them ... lay back and stare at the stars and moon again inhaling all that is feed my soul sleep ... dream for starts anyway

Watch all those DVDs I haven't watched yet.
Listen to all those CDs I haven't heard yet. Read all those comic books I haven't read yet. I could barricade myself in my apartment for a month and still find stuff to do.

I am thinking of Kayaking or boating one early morning... just by myself. Camping is heavenly... but people get chopped up now adays... Gosh, where is the damn peace. "I think too much" I enjoy these kind of days often... as I have tons of time completely alone. Beautiful it is Mach.

I'd take in a Sweat Bath.. Spiritually cleansing. No cost.
Sleep in one day - revitalizes the soul. Read a book by Maya Anjelou. You are a nature lover, a hike is rewarding. Have a nice cold beer... ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

Oh my God. I wish I had six days to just do nothing at home. Although I probably couldn't sit still.
I would: a) scan all my pictures on to my computer and burn them on cd (I have over 1000) b) record all of my cassettes on to my computer so that I can burn them. c) take lots of baths. d) redecorate e) try out new restaurants in town I know, I'm a nerd. Listen to all those CDs I haven't heard yet. Read all those comic books I haven't read yet. I could barricade myself in my apartment for a month and still find stuff to do. Perfect timing... I just read this passage in a book I am reading... Time Alive, it mentions.... "The Surprise of a Home Vacation" ~The path is Beautiful and Pleasant and Joyful and Familiar... ~Meister Eckhart It also mentioned... "Pretend you're in the most luxurious inn in the world. Call your bedroom Room Number One. Have your prettiest sheets on your bed, a pitcher of colorful flowers, magazines and books, a scented candle and favorite nightwear and robes. You are now in your private world of retreat. Screen your telephone calls, turn off the cell phone and television, and drift away to a dreamland. ... When you take a home vacation, you freshly recognize that your daily life is sublime. You discover that you actually enjoy the little domestic chores you now see as grace notes. You widen your perspective and feel the awakening of your soul to how beautiful and meaningful your home is and have precious yoru time alive is. And best of all: no hotel bill!" ~There is no place like Home. ~Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ. ~Smile.
