How do you feel about the name Jersey?

I think the name Valory would have been better.

my daughter says she's naming her kids after literary characters, her kitten's name is Loki--god of mischief lol

I like that name.

Not only does it mean wise man/woman, but it's the name of one of the most powerful healing herbs known to humans.

It's nice.

Although I'm not usually one 4 new age names, I gotta agree with The Mistress on this, and 4 exactly the same reasons, plus one: it sounds good.

Also... burning Sage is beleived 2 cleanse an area of past harmful (or antagonistic) spirits... a purifier...

Again... most of the new-age names are nauseating, but Sage is very cool.

Not only is it immature, it could also be a stripper name...

I've come to the conclusion that almost any name works as a stripper name. Obvious clunkers are ones like Gertrude or Hortense.

I believe that Sylvester Stallone's oldest son is named Sage. It means a very wise man. At least it's not some whack name like Apple. rolleyes

When you stop to consider that Colby and Brie -both kinds of cheeses -have been rising in popularity in the past few years and that Brie is in fact in the Top 50 most popular names in the U.S., Apple really isn't all that bad.

I'd rather be a fruit than be cheesy. rainbow
