Driving? Can someone give me any tips on how to park please? Where to look...when to turn into my parking spot.....please? I should be taking my test pretty soon... thanks....don't close this thread until i get good answer...  | |

don't ask me! I nearly ran over a man with a wooden leg during my driving test, and my examinor was under instruction herself so the car was full of people having an arguement
amazingly I still passed! | |

amazingly I still passed! ohhh you're lucky, I remember a guy said he was in the car and the instructor was eyeing his french fries...he offered them to the instructor and he passed when he shouldn't have....hehe....gosh i hope i'm lucky....thanks for replying to my thread. [Edited 7/7/06 6:21am] I don't think I managed to parallel park - she opened the door to see if I was inside the line and I don't think I was and then she got in a fight with the instructor and she was threatening to fail me because he was being belligerent! | |

Wear big, dangly loud earrings. 
I was given this piece of advice cause it's easier to notice you turning your head and looking before you do things. 
Technically, I should have failed my first test as when I went to parallel park I nudged the cone just the tiniest bit. Very tiny. This would be called an accident and the test should be over, but my examiner didn't notice. 
I scored very highly, actually. lol. |
